Why am I here?

As I’m sure we’ve all asked that of ourselves from time to time, I’ve spent a bit wondering that about me. First I’ll share why I decided to put myself out there as much as I have, and then I might try guessing at why you are reading.

It was a couple years ago that a friend of mine said, as I was talking to him about some of my pursuits, that I was a real polymath. A new type of “renaissance man” if you will. Someone who is a study of life and the way things work in the world.

I’m the type of person who runs into something new and studies it. Digging deep into what it’s for, how it’s made, and trying to understand as much about it as possible. I seek to learn how it helps me and what it’s all about.

The next quality is that I enjoy sharing what I know. One of the most rewarding things I’ve gotten to do is serve on the board of a non-profit. That’s problem-solving at its finest and for great causes. Serving usually means not getting paid, but I think that’s what makes the reward that much more special.

So how do these qualities bring me here? Well I’m an author and entrepreneur. I develop ideas, solutions and advice, then try to find people who could use it. A great deal of it I’m giving away. There’s a fair amount that I’m asking some exchange for as well. It’s all about value, right?

Let me tackle this one – why are you here? First, I suspect you want to know more about me because reading my words and experiences is a great way to do that. Second, there you may decide to check out some other stuff I’ve done, buy my book, or feel that I’m authentic enough you’d like to get some coaching. It’s all good. Please explore and learn. Also ask some questions please, I look forward to talking to you.

All the best!
